Jconfarm and COVID-19

Closed due to COVID-19
Jconfarm and COVID-19, what a year it has been. COVID-19 affected all businesses and Jconfarm was no different. We had to close up shop for the best part of 2020. This was the instructions from Department of Tourism, Department of Health, LGU and all other entities. Unfortunately we reluctantly had to lay off our staff one after the other. That was the hardest part for Jconfarm during COVID-19. Covid-19 just went on and on and of course is still causing devastation.
The Department of Tourism were very strict in allowing business to resume. This was obviously for the safety and well being of our guests. We had to apply for a DOT certificate giving permission for us to reopen rooms, bar, restaurant etc.. Finally Jconfarm despite COVID-19 got permission to resume our business. But even then visitors and guests were just not going out like before. As for foreign guests, well they totally stopped coming as COVID-19 had all airports closed and the international tourism just came to an end. Even at this time foreign travelers cannot visit Philippines.
Jconfarm (despite COVID-19) open again

Following the granting of our certificate to resume business, we once again opened our doors. Business was very slow to pick up. People still were reluctant to come out and mix. This prompted us to rent out Jconfarm in order to pump new blood so to speak into the business. Our main concern in this was to ensure that the business we had built up over the years would continue or better the excellent quality we offered. Even though Jconfarm was still being affected by COVID-19-19
Enter new management at Jconfarm and COVID-19

The new management now running Jconfarm is Tisay and Tata. Tisay is back from Australia and Tata is local here to Calaran. It’s great to see our customers coming back at last. While Jconfarm and COVID-19 still exists, the thing is to make the best of what we have. We certainly look forward to everything getting back to normal, or at least the new normal.
The name of Jconfarm will soon be changing to Tisay Te Amor Farm. We wish and hope for the best in future for Tisay and Tata and this business.
